Traditional charity event
It takes place every year in May when thousands of volunteers sell yellow flowers throughout the Czech Republic as a main sign of this event. It also includes many informative and educational meetings. There have already been twenty years of this event with the total yield of over 260 million CZK.
We decided to contribute to charity by what we do the best – Level IT up! We created a mobile application and web presentation, we also made up an e-flower solution which opened a new online sales channel for the Czech Day Against Cancer event. All for free. We believe that these services will help to increase income for this charity event in much a higher amount than we ourselves are able to contribute.
We developed a mobile application that supports the distribution and sales of flowers during the Czech Day Against Cancer event. It helps to cover all crowded places with enough distributors. It helps to find a distributor for anybody who wants to buy charity flower in small towns. It gives detailed info about prevention and fight against many types of cancer. And much more.
We constantly try to innovate so we have created a concept for Czech Day Against Cancer called "e-flower". When someone sends a donors message (DMS) from his phone, he receives an answer with a link where he can attach his e-flower to his profile photo on Facebook. Just a few clicks and it's done. With e-flowers we promote this event on social networks and motivate donors' friends to donate as well. We want to start a snowball effect that will significantly increase revenues for this event through the new online donation channel.
